The Digital Foundation Intensive course is the perfect place for beginner artists unfamiliar with digital painting. The program provides in-depth lessons that familiarize students with the basics of Adobe Photoshop, while developing foundational painting skills that will enable them to create more complex work.

The Game Concept Design Intensive course provides its students with the tools they need to produce their own concept art for games, comics, or film. Experience the work of a professional concept artist by designing your original story and world, from characters to environments to props.

The Character Design Intensive course leads you step-by-step through the process of creating great characters. This includes learning about character expression and proportion, as well as the fundamentals of gesture drawing, anatomy, character personality, clothing and character angles and perspectives. Based on this learning, you will develop and complete a series of dynamic digital characters for animation, game design and digital comics.

Illustrators are storytellers, who communicate with an audience using their art. Ashcan’s Digital Illustration Intensive course is designed to provide students with the tools they need to become artists and storytellers. Students are introduced to various foundational skills and techniques, such as digital portrait and landscape painting. In addition, they learn different composition techniques used for effective storytelling.
